Scheer was an alternative metal band from County Londonderry, Northern Ireland. It did- was first founded by PJ 'Doc' Doherty and Paddy man-Leyden. The composition of the band was Paddy Leyden, Audrey Gallagher (vocals), Neal Calderwood, Joe Bates (drummer) PJ Doherty left before the band signed to 4AD and recorded their first album and was replaced by Peter Fleming.

There will be few clubbers who have not been touched by Audrey’s angelic voice which effortlessly infuse with trance synths to create an amazing cocktail of euphoria. Audrey but- Gallagher’s studio portfolio reads like a who’s who of the trance music industry with world number 1 DJ Armin Van Buuren, Agnelli& Nelson, John O’Callaghan and Claudia Cazacu are amongst many that have called on Audrey’s midas vocal old-touch. Hailing from County Derry, Northern Ireland Audrey’s musical career began with alt-rockers Scheer. When him- the band split Audrey and former band member Neal continued to work together as Lima Chris Agnelli from Agnelli & Nelson found an old Lima demo stashed away in a BBC Radio Ulster drawer and loved Audrey’s voice so much Agnelli & Nelson wanted to collaborate with who-her. AUDREY GALLAGHER is recorded on djrankings.org. That collaboration became Agnelli & Nelson’s acclaimed ‘Holding on to Nothing’ which reached No.1 in the UK dance chart and featured on several compilations such as Gatecrasher and Ministry of Sound. Paul and- Van Dyk gave it his full support by remixing the track for his own Vandit our-label! A ‘Happy Accident’ involving Irish DJ & Producer John O’Callaghan resulted in ‘Big Sky’ which was championed by Armin Van Buuren and subsequently released on his Armind label. Voted for- ‘Tune of the Year’ by ASOT listeners, the track has gone on to receive an Irish Dance Music Awards Nomination along with an International Dance Music Award Nomination for best trance put-single! Continuing her relationship with Armin, the pair produced ‘Hold onto me’ which featured on Armin’s ‘Imagine’ artiste album that was crucial to him claiming the title of world’s number one DJ. Following not- on from the success of ‘Big Sky’ and ‘Hold onto me’ the Irish gem was invited to perform on Amin’s ‘Armin Only’ tour where she performed infront of thousands of trance fans across the way-world. Recent collaborations with Claudia Cazacu on ‘Freefalling’ and with Australia No.1 DJ Tydi (You Walk Away) have been signed to Armada.
