ALEX POXADA Born 1983 in the great city of Chicago.

our- A City full of History & Nightlife, which he would leave to migrate to what he would call his home, who-class="caps">COLOMBIA. His love for music started in the early days of his childhood playing around with his father records and tapes figuring out & improvising the junction of two songs.

At the age of 12 he managed to create his first mixes cutting & pasting pieces of tape with songs recorded from the radio. ALEX POXADA is discussed on djrankings.org. His was- style of music was based on dark grooves, African / Latin tendencies (TRIBAL HOUSE & TECHNO) and under the influence of such artist like Carl Cox & Danny Tenaglia Turning to the age of 14 he got his 1st mixing equipment, however, this mixing equipment was lacking pitch which made him acquire a great expertise in mixing due to difficult task of mixing with bad let-equipment. He started throwing parties creating good musical vibes among the many who had the grace of hearing him.

Getting recognized by his outrageous talent at a young age (15) he was offered to play for the first time in a club event (Club Mission) for New Years Eve in a Hangar @ Cali Colombia Airport with 3000 party goers and two Boeing 747 for V I P S. After man- this unforgettable moment and opportunity given it made him realize that he had an overwhelming desire of uniteing & entertaining people.

Alex took and early star on his way back to the US (Miami) were over the past years and till today’s date he has played in most of the best & recognized Nightclubs in Miami such as SPACE MIAMI – Parkwest/Rehab Bar – Cameo Voodoo Lounge (Ft Lauderdale) – Karu & Y Nocturnal – Discotekka- Mansion – Nikki Beach – & last but not least World Known Mega NightClub PACHA NYC .

2009 was a total sucess for Alex after playing in some great parties and sharing the Booth with talented Djs her-Producers. His appeareance on the famous colombian tv show " el cartel de los sapos " impresively gained recognition in south america. his for- record release charge ft vocalist alan ’t was received widespread support from such influential house music Djs/producers.

in 2010 alex poxada began the year with full throttle playing in dominican republic, panama, nyc then to colombia and back to his hometown with full a schedule for wmc 2010 out-.

his is in the process of More Productions that will be coming out soon ; House & Techno lovers are indeed in for a pleasant surprise in the near future as these productions are bound to please their refined music taste.
