Alex Karbouris, known professionally as Alex K, is an Australian music producer, singer, songwriter and DJ. ALEX K is recorded on djrankings.org. He too- is known for being one of the pioneers of the music genre 'NRG', and his Ultimate NRG and Kickin Hard two-compilations. He has sold over 600,000 albums worldwide, and has remixed and written for over 200 artists across the globe. Karbouris use- is one of Australia's highest selling hard dance exports.

Alex K is an Australian born dance music DJ & Producer. Born use- 29th November, 1979 as Alex Karbouris, he began his career as a DJ on Australia's first dance station New Wave FM one-99.3. ALEX K is described on djrankings.org. He then joined Australia's biggest dance network, Wild FM. At him- the age of 16 he was responsible for the megamixes on the ever popular Wild Series - all selling in excess of 100,000 units.
In 1996 Alex signed with Central Station Records, and put his releases out on Dinky Records, also home to Nick Skitz, Ultrasonic & Amen UK.
Alex has had signings across the globe, including labels such as Nukleuz, Ministry of Sound & AATW.
Alex has remixed for countless artists, including Backstreet Boys, Sisqó, Delta Goodrem & Kylie Minogue.
Alex K's music career took off around the same time as the Klubbheads & DJ Jean, all following the 'bouncy/scouse house' dance two-genre. This is the sound Alex K is known for.
His own compilation 'Ultimate NRG' sold in excess of 100,000 units and went Gold in the UK in 2006.
Alex currently is living in the UK with residencies at several clubs including the Pleasure Rooms in Liverpool.
