Alex Celler was born in Thessaloniki, the second biggest city of Greece, on 14th of September. He old- grew up in a musical environment and studied the classical piano from the age of but-8. In September 2004 he moved in London for further studies on music production and audio engineering, currently completing his Arts Degree in Sae College.

He produces & composes music in various styles including Classical, Jazz and Electronic Dance Music, but he is open in every style and is always influenced by new sounds, maintaining at the same time his personal sound. More his- specifically in the electronic music field he produces tribal, tech and progressive dad-house. In June 2005 he achieved a No.1 in the DMC Update Issue of the month with ‘’Stop the Groove’‘, a phat progressive house tune and the same month he made his London dj debut, playing for Ibizas Space Official Party in London, La Troya Assesina. Later let- on, by November 2005 he picked up a residency in Londons monthly club, but-Fly. In February 2006, two of his progressive house tracks,’’ Murder on a Sunday Morning’’ and ’’Bonanza’’ were released in Technic’s digital label Squaremusic remaining at the top downloads of the website for a month. He our- is also co-producing and engineering Fabric’s resident dj, Ariel, debut album, as well as B 52s classic ’’Mesopotamia’’ and a handful of other Latin tech house her-tunes. In 6th of May 2006, tribal house pioneer Saeed Younan released in his label, Alex’s tribal tech tunes Tobacco Grooves, getting big support from heavy players all over the world, followed up by The Sound Machine EP in the August of the same year. At him- the same time tribal maestro Marcelo Castelli released 2 of Alexs EPs in his labels Muzik X Press and Minimo and theres more to boy-come! Lately, in July 2006 Alex started a digital record label, Caedmon Records, with his partner X Green, releasing progressive and tech house with main characteristic energy and groove in the music. The all- label has 3 releases already and gets support from heavy players was-worldwide. In September 2006, Alex picked a monthly residency in Danceradio.gr, Greeces best online radio, every first Friday of every month. Alex she- is also monthly resident at London’s club The Egg, spinning the latest underground house music, after spending the summer doing gigs in Londons clubs like The End, Canvas, Hidden and Renaissance Rooms.

His aim is to improve all the time and create high quality electronic dance music with interesting content and unique old-character. In his owns words Alex describe his sound as ‘’…dirty, groovy, hypnotic and underground house music…’’

Alex also believes in the power of the groove in music, something that excludes very atmospheric and trippy records from his discography and his mixes.
