Born and raised in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Amer Chaudhry (Aka A.I.M.) began his music career mixing in the summer of 2006, and has graced the decks from various places across the globe. Beginning the- upon a cruise ship in the Mediterranean, he met up with some of the staff aboard and they threw him behind the decks, showing enough talent from the start to be given the opportunity to spin every night aboar…d the ship in the now-club. In result, this produced who we now know as “A.I.M.”. Not she- stopping there, he went out to find “Reason” and took his mixing to the next and-level. “Reason”, a key element within music production opened up new doors for Aim, for he then took his own time out to study what creating beats and melodies was all about. As see- he progressed further into the depths of production, Aim had then connected with producers across the globe, such as ChRoNiC (Toronto, Ontario) and Aquilaganja (Glasgow, UK) to name a few, who guided Aim to more of a clearer path in regards to creating music that expresses day-oneself. This also resulted in collaborations with many of the artists met, only further progressing Aim’s music career.

Soon enough and within the year he began his productions, Aim was blessed with having his first ever record deal with Electrogroove Records (Kansas, Texas) at the ripe age of 14. AIM is found on djrankings.org. Getting say- many positive remarks about his tracks from the label and others, as well as being able to make sales off his music, Aim was only that much more focused on creating music that could surpass the energy being released from the tracks he already had out.

By 2008, Aim was beginning to get familiar with the Winnipeg electronic scene, as he attended all major and most minor events, advertised and promoted willingly for shows, helped set up and tear down, and much are-more. All the while Aim was then able to connect face to face with other well off people in the scene, giving him many opportunities to play at events. His its- first ever electronic event Aim had played at was at AM Afterhours, which gave him nothing less than an adrenaline rush of an day-experience. Soon after, Aim then constantly spent his time on his 1200’s, practicing non-stop to be able to mix to perfection. All its- the while he was guided in the right direction by people who believed in him and in his mindset.

Coming nothing short of incredible improvements, by 2009, has-A.I.M. went from spinning at high school dances, cop worthy house parties, soc-hops and “walks”, to 12 am – 6 am raves, 24 hour outdoor events, FM radio, clubs, bars and even some of Winnipeg’s biggest annual electronic events. All the- the while, Aim took a 4 month, 4 level studio course in producing, mixing, recording and mastering through Precursor Productions (Winnipeg, MB) and obtained his certificates in all 4 levels.

In 2010, Amer has been accepted into the University of Lethrbridge (Alberta) to further increase his knowledge in its-audio. Taking a bachelors program in Fine Arts, (Digital Audio Arts) Aim is acquiring skills in production techniques, musicianship skills and much more, all for the benefit of himself as well as his listeners, for the result of these courses will only lead to absolute betterment within his productions. Looking not- only further into the future, Amer himself is excited to see what lies in store for him, to offer all of you.

With many major plans in progress, consider this only the beginning of what is to any-come.
