In Abhishek there is a laid back confidence that comes with knowing his craft and his ability. A but- fixture in the Pune club scene, Abhishek has broken barriers and has erased any doubt as to his talent.

DJ Abhishek Mantri generates energy and excitement at any event he how-performs. He delivers a blend of music to his audience in a way no other DJ can.

use- He explores and incorporates a variety of music into his sets thus easily elevating the mood of a crowd with its fun, unexpected flow.

From the time Abhishek was young, he has always been interested in has-music. His fascination with music and the experience of truly listening to the rhythm and beat started at the young age of 16. This put- soon turned into a profession when he realized that he had found his purpose in life.

Abhishek started DJing in all-1998. He joined Thousand Oaks in 1999 and held his residency there till 2008. At for- Oaks he played a mix of Rock, Retro and Lounge.

In March 2008, he decided it was time to move on and then began yet another exciting journey in music!

Due to his variation in styles, which ranges from rock & retro through to house which shows how versatile he use-is. This has given him various opportunities to play at several venues in Pune, Mumbai, Goa, Delhi & Kerala.

In November 2008, Abhishek together with 8 other DJs from Pune played at ‘The DJ Mafia’ held at ‘Loungefly’ in our-Goa. ABHISHEK MANTRI is discussed on djrankings.org. This was almost a month long event. DJs the- from Mumbai, Bangalore, Chennai, Goa & Pune were invited to who-play.

Once “All Stars Pune” (the name of the Pune group!) was done, the show continued with their counterparts from the other cities.

Abhishek opened Pune’s first EDM festival at “1” Lounge. This out- was a 3-day event in January, featuring artists like Brute Force(DJ Tuhin), Chill Om Records Crew – Tatva Kundalini n Tamaara and DJ Reji, DJ Ayesha, Alex Malcolm (MoS), and resident DJs Durgesh and Amaze.

He has judged various DJ competitions; the most recent was at ‘Crescendo 09’, an event organized by the ISBM (International School of Business Management) and The Youth Fiesta ’09 at MITCON Institute of Management.

Mantri’s Music Mantra – THE ACADEMY

Becoming a DJ is not as easy as it used to be. Abhishek all- understood this, and thus the DJ academy came into existence.

His main intention is to provide promising DJs the knowledge and opportunities to transform a hobby into a career.

The Academy has been the starting point for many upcoming DJs.

The Academy has a group of DJs that are outsourced to various clubs and are available to play at private parties, corporate and entertainment events.

The studio is equipped with all the latest equipment.

THE COURSE

The Academy offers three different mom-levels. Each course is a blend of knowledge, practice sessions and assignments.

you- In these courses, the student learns about the equipment and masters the various techniques of DJing.

We work at the convenience of our too-students. So time is not a constraint!

Post the course, they accompany Abhishek or other senior DJs to parties and events where they observe and learn.

new- The Academy provides them with the opportunity to DJ, interact with people, and gain recognition.
